These terms cover booking and receiving services at Loving Jewels Nail & Lash Studio ("we", "us") and using this website. By booking, you agree to them.
1. Our services
We provide nail services (manicures, gel, builder gel, extensions, pedicures) and lash services (extensions, fills, lifts and tints) at our studio in Florida. Services are performed by practitioners licensed by the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation (DBPR), Board of Cosmetology. Licences are available to see at the studio and can be checked on the DBPR website.
2. Booking
Times shown on the booking page are live. Your appointment is confirmed when you receive the confirmation on screen, and, where a deposit is asked for, once it has been paid. Very occasionally a time is taken in the moment between choosing it and confirming; if so, you are told before anything is charged and asked to pick another.
We may need to move or cancel an appointment (illness, an emergency). If we do, you choose between a new time and a full refund of any deposit.
3. Deposits
Some services need a deposit to book. A deposit is part of the price, not an extra charge: it comes off the total and the balance is paid at your appointment. The amount is always shown before you pay. Payments are processed by our payment provider; we never see or store your card number.
4. Cancelling, moving and missed appointments
Whatever the notice, your deposit is refunded in full if you were charged twice or the wrong amount, if we cancel and you do not want a new time, or if no appointment was actually reserved. Refunds go back to the original payment method and can take a few business days to appear.
5. Your health and safety
Please tell us before your appointment about allergies (including to adhesives, acrylates or latex), sensitive or recently treated eyes, skin or nail conditions, pregnancy, or medication that affects healing. Lash adhesive contains cyanoacrylate; if you have reacted to lash or nail products before, ask us for a patch test at least 48 hours before your appointment.
For your safety and other clients', we may decline or stop a service where there are signs of infection, a fungal or open condition, or eye irritation, and suggest you see a doctor. Our services are cosmetic; they are not medical treatment.
Metal tools are sterilised in a medical autoclave and single-use items are used once and thrown away, as Florida rules require.
6. After your appointment
Wear depends on aftercare and on your natural nails and lashes. If lifting, chipping or loss in the first seven days is down to our work, tell us and we fix it free. Damage from picking, peeling, removing enhancements yourself, or not following aftercare is not covered.
7. Behaviour
We may refuse or end a service for abusive or unsafe behaviour, intoxication, or arriving so late that the service cannot be done properly. A deposit is kept in those cases.
8. Photos
We may ask to photograph your nails or lashes for our portfolio and social media. We only do so with your permission, and never show your face without asking. You can ask us to remove a photo at any time.
9. This website
The content, photos and design of this site belong to us or are used under licence (see Credits). Do not copy them for commercial use without permission. We work to keep prices and times correct; if an error is found, we tell you before your appointment and you may cancel without charge.
10. Liability
To the extent Florida law allows, our liability for any claim about a service is limited to the price you paid for that service. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for negligence causing personal injury.
11. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first; most things can be put right quickly. Any dispute that cannot be resolved goes to the courts of Miami-Dade County, Florida.
